TCB Security Services has immediate openings for part-time and on-call Reserve Officer positions in a variety of fields:
~ Armed Patrol (Lincoln County)
~ Parking Enforcement (Newport)
~ Oregon Coast Aquarium Security (South Beach)
~ Port of Newport Security (Newport/South Beach)
~ FedEx Site Security (Lincoln City)
~ Tanger Outlet Center Security (Lincoln City)
~ Dispatcher (Newport)
We are seeking team players who are looking to grow with our company. Applicants are encouraged to pursue qualification in multiple fields. DPSST certification is a plus, however training and certification can be provided. Serious consideration should be given by each applicant with regards to the training and personal responsibility that comes with a position such as this. We are looking to recruit 8 to 10 officers who would like to serve as on-call & back up officers for our full time operations.

PAY: $10-$12/hr DOE
The preferred candidate will possess the following abilities, knowledge, and skills:
~ Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; analyze problems in the area of assignment to enforce laws, rules, ordinances and to think and act quickly, calmly, and efficiently in emergency and other conflict situations; prepare reports and collect evidence; educate the public; read maps; remain calm and use good judgment during confrontational or high pressure situations; employ problem identification and resolution techniques and make decisions independently in accordance with established policy and procedures and use initiative and judgment in completing tasks and responsibilities; Courteously meet and deal effectively with other employees, public, clients and other law enforcement agencies, federal, state, and local agencies.
~ Possess general knowledge of federal, state and county rules, regulations and ordinances that govern enforcement activities.
~ Demonstrate skill in meeting and dealing with a wide variety of people. Operation of vehicles, communication equipment and other departmental equipment; report writing and statistical data compilation, interviewing and listening.
Work is primarily performed in a field environment with physical demands

Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Be computer literate and be able to multi-task
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have a clean criminal record
Have a good driving record
Walk for long periods of time
Work in all types of weather
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed and 21 for armed.
